We collect the following information when you use TeeSocial:

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo (optional).

Golf Data: Scores, statistics, course ratings, handicap information, and round history that you enter into the app.

Location Data: With your permission, we access your device's location to provide GPS yardages on the course and to find nearby golf courses. Location data is used only while the app is active and is not stored on our servers.

Push Notification Token: If you enable notifications, we store a device token to send you alerts about round activity such as birdies and eagles from players in your group.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the TeeSocial experience, including tracking your golf scores and statistics, connecting you with other golfers, calculating your handicap, providing GPS distances on the course, and sending notifications about round activity.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service with encryption at rest and in transit. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device using encrypted secure storage.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your golf scores and profile information may be visible to other TeeSocial users you connect with through the app's social features.

Third-Party Services

TeeSocial uses the following third-party services:

Supabase: Database and authentication services.

Google Maps: Course mapping and GPS functionality.

Expo Push Notifications: Delivery of push notifications to your device.

These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your data.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can disable location services and push notifications through your device settings.

Children's Privacy

TeeSocial is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the app.
